Abstract (EN)
Deep drawing process and sheet metal forming in automotive industry were worked in this study. Study was contucted in a stamping part's die of a car at an OEM. Within the scope of this study, sheet metal material's properties and formability were examined and solution proposals were presented. Root cause analysis were conducted at first step of this study, after that feasibility analyis was done using with simulation programs and new sheet metal blank geometries were offered. In addition to that stamping die's force and press force values were inspected to solve problems. Key points of sheet metal forming of this process were presented at the end of this study. Key points are intended to assist in new road maps and solutions in next vehicle, stamping or die projects.
