Abstract (EN)
Polyurethanes are produced by mixturing the poliol and the isocyanate as foam from. One of the most important problems in the production of shaped polyurethane (PU) parts is polyurethane´s adherence to aluminum mould. Because of low cost, easily productivity and high thermal conductivity, Al moulds are preferred in the production of the PU. On the Al mould surfaces, aluminum oxide and aluminum hydroxide layers formation by the effect of the humidity of air, let some polymers to adhere to surface. Free ?OH groups make chemical bonding with PU as well as mechanical bond. In this study, production methods of PU foams used in the production of automotive seat and adhesion behavior between mould and PU and surface properties of used materials were investigated. 10 different polymer coating were coated on Etial 150 Al-Si alloy and they were characterized. Conclusions; PFA has the least value of surface roughness and ETFE has the highest one in the ten different coatings produced. In the contact angle measurements before and after isocyanate tests, PFA(2) exhibits the best nonstickness behavior. Results of adhesion test indicate that ETFE coating exhibits low adhesion behavior. PFA(2) shows the least adhesion value in the adhesion behavior test between PU and the coating.
