Abstract (EN)
Plant logistics when compared to inbound and outbound logistics is a less studiedsubject open to improvement. Within thesis study, how to be a logistic model in a factory that is engaged in manufacturing in the automotive industry. It is aimed to construct such a plant logistics structure in a lean manufacturing environment that enables reducing the material handling costs, increasing value added time and having an easily manageable and standardized material handling system. With this aim, In-plant semi-finished goods transportation system was examined and cable distribution area to the assembly lines of the factory was determined as the scope of the study. Within thesis study, in the cable distribution system with simultaneous collection and distribution, cable collection and cable distribution operations are divided. Cable distribution in the factory is considered as a vehicle routing problem. Distribution routes to be completed by the distribution operator in a minimum time using the Clarke and Wright algorithm , the sweep algorithm and the capacity limited vehicle routing problem mathematical model, which are one of the vehicle routing problem solution methods. The results were compared with the current situation and the best result was the Clarke and Wright algorithm. Keywords: Plant logistics, Vehicle routing, the Clarke and Wright algorithm, the sweep algorithm, capacity limited vehicle routing
