Şenay Şen November -2009The aim of this research is to determine the effect of self- regulated education strategies on the fourth grade primary students' perception of self efficacy and success on Maths lesson.This research is based on the students chosen from Kalaba Primary School and Bağlum Primary School in the 2008-2009 Education Year. Experiment 2 and Experiment 1 are composed of 26 students.In the scope of this research, two kinds of data collection tool were used to collect data. These are; 1. Matris Success Test, 2. Matris Self- efficacy and SuccessTest.In accordance with the subjects, experiment and control groups' perception of self efficacy and success average were compared. Arithmetic average, standart deviation, dependent and independent test and one way ANOVA and Scheffe test were used in tre comparisons.The findings and results collected in the scope of the research are:1. The strategy of self- evaluation and self- monitoring education increased students'perception of self efficacy.2.There is no significant difference between experiment 2, experiment 1 compared to control group post-test scores of students of mathematics self-efficacy perception.3.The strategy of self- evaluation and self- monitoring education increased students' success on Maths substantially.4.A significant difference was found in favor of between experiment 2, experiment 1 and control group post-test scores in math achievement tests.Key Words: Self regulated Learning, The Perception of Self- efficacy, Maths Success
