Abstract (EN)

The subject of the dissertation is examination of equivalent idioms in Uzbek Turkish and Turkey Turkish in terms of sound, form and meaning via comparative method. This dissertation is composed of introduction, examination and result sections. Information about the subject, purpose, limits and the methods of the study is given in the introduction part of the dissertation. The examination section of the study consists of two main sections. In the first section, "equivalence", "false-equivalence" terms which are the main focus of the study, the voice features of Uzbek Turkish, and other studies that are related to this topic, are emphasized. Equivalent idioms in Uzbek Turkish and Turkey Turkish, which are main subject of this dissertation, are examined in the second chapter of the study. The mentioned idioms are examined under the titles of 1) Full Equivalent Idioms; 2) Partial Equivalent Idioms; 3) Full False Equivalent Idioms; 4) Partial False Equivalent Idioms. In the conclusion section of our study the results that are obtained from the evaluation of the data in the Review section, are given. The list of equivalent idioms in Uzbek Turkish and Turkey Turkish is also added in this section. The study ends with the bibliography.
