As a result, it has been concluded that phytonyms in Uzbek proverbs are mostly used as metaphors, expressing concepts such as family, ancestry, friendship, neighbourhood, homeland, stinginess, and value, and the words of Turkish origin are the most common in the proverbs in terms of etymology.
