The research of the effects of the health employees safety at a private hospital's on job stresses

Introduction and Target:This scientific work;it is organized with the aim of health care staffs who work at the private hospital vocational risks and effects,trying to prevent these risks or decrease minimal level,to minimize work-related tension level. Equipment and Method:The population of cross-sectional and definitive type of study is health care staffs who work at the private hospital in Gaziantep,between Septeber-October,in 2016.Any sampling isn't taken in population,it is wanted to reach all,but 151 health personnels are reached.Research Datas;it is used to socio-demographics Characteristics,Risks and Danger originating from the occupational environment,Analysis of Health Care Staffs' safety scale and work-related stress,Frequency,Test of Indepent Sample T, ANOVA SPSS 20 , Kruskal Wallis,Test of Mann Whitney U and Correlation Analysis. Results: 51.7 percent of the healthcare professionals part of this research are women and 20.5% are physicians, 47.0% are nurses, 5.3% are midwives and the rest are health technicians (27.2%). Age average of participants is 33.95 ± 8.97. Work safety of the hospital taken as a sample of this research is provided. The tension of healthcare technicians due to work condition are more than other employees. It is determined that when professional experience and age increase, work-related tension is decreased. Healthcare professionals who has sleep disorder are more likely to have work-related tension and also their sense of work safety decrease. It is determined that work-related tension effects sense of work safety in negative way.Conclusion and Suggestions: In the hospital, in which this research is done, work safety is provided According to the score of health workers scale; however a part of healthcare professionals are experiencing work-related tension. In-service training programs about "occupational health and safety, coping with work stress, risks and dangers related to work environment" should be done by the management in order to increase the culture of occupational health and safety and also to decrease work-related tension.
