Examination of employee selection and placement process in a private educational institutions: A case analysis

Employee planning is realized by making detailed job analyzes and employee analysis suitable for the job. In order to select employees with suitable qualifications for the job, different methods can be used in various and sometimes the same business recruitment periods. Today, businesses take into account the psychological status of candidates by applying tests with different contents to their recruitment processes. In this study, firstly, general information about the employee recruitment process was given, and then the recruitment process in a private school operating in the province of Istanbul was examined and the importance of hiring the right staff for the right job was mentioned. By examining the employee selection and placement process, which is one of the main functions of human resources management in a private school, trying to support institutions and employees in the management of job application and recruitment processes for the future, and in addition, what a private school does for candidates in recruitment before and after the pandemic. This thesis study has been prepared in order to contribute to the scientific and academic studies to be made on this subject by revealing the criteria sought, how they reached a solution in the face of the problems experienced in the private school during the pandemic process, and their views on the education sector during the pandemic period.
