Comparing the levels of job satisfaction and anxiety of branch teachers in public and private schools depending on demographic variables

This study aims to compare the job satisfaction and anxiety of branch teachers in public and private schools depending on demographic variables. This research includes 100 branch teacher from 5 private and 5 public schools. The participants were supposed to take demographic data form, Job Satisfaction Inventory and Beck Anxiety Inventory. In this study, the demographic variables are independent variables of the study while dependent variables are job satisfaction and anxiety level of branch teachers. In the analysis process, independent samples t test, one-way analysis of variance and LSD Post Hoc test are applied. In order to examine the relationship between the inventories, Pearson Correlation is applied. In analysis, the confidence interval is accepted as % 95 (the significance level 0,05 p<0,05). As a result of analysis, it is observed that there is a significant relationship between job satisfaction and anxiety level, and the anxiety level of branch teachers in private schools is higher than ones in public schools. The other variables are analyzed by charts.
