The research of parents' opinions on the gui̇dance servi̇ce i̇n the pri̇vate educational establi̇shments

The purpose of this research is the examination and determination of parental views on the function of counselling service in the private educational establishments. The scope of the study is the parents of students in the 15 private educational schools and rehabilitation centers in Istanbul. The results are reached through a questionnarie from parents. It is examined and researched the level of the positive or negative contributions towards to opinions of views of parents about guidance services in the private educational establishments. Before the part of the results and analyses of questionnarie almost all concepts have been examined and explained. The questionnarie of the examinatin of the views of the parents on the function of guidance service in the private schools has been used in this research by the researcher. The frequency, percentage, average, and standard deviation value are clearly explained for all independent variations in the parens's data in the light of the results of the Chi-Square analysis, the dependency between the variations has been tested statistically, concernig the questions in the examination of the views of parents about the function of the guidance service in the private schools. New suggestions have been introduced in the research in the light of the research. Keywords: Guidance services, counselling, school guidance, private education, and rehabilitation
