Abstract (EN)

The aim of the study is to examine the opinions of physical education and sports teachers working in special education schools regarding physical education curriculum and the problems they encounter in their lessons. The current study was conducted using the interview method within the scope of qualitative research. Within the scope of the research, interviews were conducted with 8 physical education teachers working in special education schools in Yozgat and Ankara provinces within the scope of the semi-structured interview form. The raw data collected through the interviews were coded and categorized, and the data were organized under these categories and turned into a meaningful whole. The opinions of the participants were directly conveyed as they were. The expressions were converted into figures as a result of the analysis and their frequencies were determined. The MAXQDA package program was used in the modeling process of the data. As a result of the research, it was also stated that the curriculum was inadequate in some cases, had deficiencies in terms of inclusiveness and included impractical targets. It was emphasized that the individual inadequacies of the students hindered the processing of the lessons.
