Özet (EN)

The aim of this study is to investigate Psychological Hardıness and Psychological Well-being of families with Children in need of special Education. This research consists of 9 special Education and rehabilitation centers from Bursa to represent from high, middle and low socioeconomical status. 300 participants that attended to this study consists of 156 (52%) females and 144(48%) males. Data collection tools were Psycological Hardıness Scale (PHB), Psychological Well-being Scale( bunun da/PWS) and Demographical Information Form made by the researcher. Data collection tools' Cronbach Alfa Values has been calculated to determine reliability. Various statistical methods used to analyse the data. To determining the relations between non-normal distributed scales, Spearman Brown Order Differantial Correlation Analysis used. In case of two groups with above statistical properties to determinethe differences between groups, Mann Whitney U test and in case of more than two groups Kruskal Wallis test were used. In this study, positive and statistically meaningful relationship has been found between Psychological Hardıness and Psychological Well-being levels of families with Children need in special Education (r= .720, p<.01). Families' levels of PHS and PWS doesn't Show any difference between sex, marital status, place of residence, child's level of handicap and disease. Families' levels of PRS and PWS differantiated between levels of Education, satisfaction of income, type of child's need for special Education and the thought of Being late to special Education. As a result of the study rise of the PHS value is causing to rise of the PWS value.
