Security is very important element that makes the wheel of society turn constantly. The security need, which is one of the basic needs of people, is provided by security guards along with the police and soldier. Depending on the need, the number of private security guards is increasing day by day. While performing their duties, private security guards encounter various risks and dangers depending on where they work. These hazards and risks can be classified and analyzed as hazards and risks related to the working environment, working conditions and working relationships. In this thesis study, the risks and dangers that security officers may encounter depending on the places they work are examined. It has been examined how precautions should be taken to avoid these situations and what health problems these situations can cause. The awareness level of employers and security guards should be increased and a healthier work environment should be provided about these hazards, which are very important for the health and safety of the security guard and other people in the workplace. In this way, everyone will be able to fulfill their responsibilities more effectively.
