Process management and improvement of data processing unit in private hospitals

Today, quality standards and market demands that affect all sectors force businesses to change and develop. In order to survive, businesses had to provide the fastest and highest quality product or service to customer demands. Considering that competition is increasing day by day, companies should plan and change each process in accordance with technological developments and market conditions. Businesses that make the process management right, customer satisfaction is the primary priority. It is not enough to produce products that meet the demand for customer satisfaction. They must produce the product as soon as possible according to the demand. Therefore, the secondary priority of enterprises is time. In hospitals, the duration is directly equivalent to human life. The short duration of the service rendered shortens the treatment period of the patient or the injured. The fact that the processes are suitable for improvement shortens the service life. In this study, basic information about process, process management and process improvement methods are given and presented with a special hospital application. As the application method, process management application in private hospital was followed, managerial processes were handled, as a result of time measurements, the need for improvement in information processing workflow process was determined and the application was made in this field of activity.
