Determination of financial problems those private hospitals encounter and solution suggestions

Aim of this thesis is to determine the financial problems of private hospitals encounter during business process by revealing theoretical information like the private hospitals foundation process, their development in Turkey, their types, the services they provide and financing sources. In the first section of the study health service and private hospital concepts were discussed and in the second section financing sources of private hospitals were explained. In the third; research section in order to determine the financial problems of private hospitals a field research was performed in private hospitals located in Ankara, Cankiri, and in Kastamonu cities. A questionaire was applied to 21 private hospitals those included in the survey and data obtained by the questionaire was analyzed with SSPS program. As result of analysis it was noted that beacause of the reasons like complex structure of the private hospitals, obligation of working under the government supervision, high cost elements, working with Social Security Instution and etc. they encounter financial problems.
