Crime of the violation to the privacy

The private life which has been recently recognized and partially protected under the property or/and trespass laws, has today a great content in the personal life, including networks and social contacts in public places because of technologic progress. Otherwise personal data and their protection have become one of the most problematic issues in the framework of the privacy and they always have been subject to legal regulations. In this context privacy has been generally and directly under protection since the article 134 of the Turkish Penal Code entered into force in 2005. Nevertheless, it is necessary to discuss and review this regulation in the light of ?Principle of Legality? of Penal Law and other rights and interests because of the great and dynamic structure of the concept. This is the basic object of this study.
