Academic Achievement levels of 4th Grade Elementary Schools Students with Special Learning Disability in Learning Geometry in Mathematics Lesson In this study students with special learning disability is examined in terms of their performance of learning geometry. Sample group has 7 students tottaly who study 4th grade of elementary school in Denizli. They have learning disability. Learning disability has been identify in 4th grade of elementary school is involving all geometry gainings. Therefore, 4th grade of elementary school students had been chosen for this study(17 geometry learning outcome). The research was carried out in accordance with the consecutive explanatory mixed method of scientific research methods. Test developed by Tutak (2008) which Multiple Choice Success Test, Written Exemination Success Test, Geometry Attitude Scale was used as data collection tool. Correlation analysis was used to explain the relationship between variables. The quantitative data obtained in the research were supported by qualitative data. There was a positive correlation between open-ended achievement test scores and multiple-choice test scores, while a negative correlation was found between attitude scale and other tests. Determined The mean score of open-ended achievement test was 5.42 out of 16 and the score of multiple choice achievement test was 8.14 out of 20. The quantitative data obtained in the study were supported by qualitative data. Special learning disabilities are thought to have a negative impact on academic performance in the field of geometry. It is thought that students with special learnin disabilities have negative attitudes towards geometry. The research is important because it is a firsts of research in this field also it will contribute to the literature reason of the lack of learning disabilities research in Turkey.
