Teacher circulation between private schools

The history of private schools dates back to The Ottoman. From past to present, private schools are getting more and more important because of various agreements and new laws. In recent years, number of private schools have been increasing. According to the data of MEB, from 2003 to 2016, number of private schools rised threefold. In 2003, the number of private schools was 246. In 2013, this number was elevated to 4300. Depending on that rise, students number in these private schools reached approximately 660 thousand .These schools have a huge student population. Therefore, they need to determine successful education strategies for the future of the country and future of the students. The greatest source of a private school is labor force. The qualification of the school is relevant with the qualification of the staff. Because of these reasons, the process of quality and effective education is relevant with teachers which are the most crowded part of human resources. With the elevation of the number of private schools, employments and necessity of qualified teachers have elevated either. With the bilateral rise, teacher circulation between private schools has became frequent. This circulation becomes a problem from the point of students, teachers and schools. In this research, the reasons of the teacher circulation is surveyed by using qualitative research method, and It is aimed to submit permanent solutions. During the research process, 12 teacher were interviewed who are suitable for the research problem. Datas were collected with semi-structured interview forms. After the completion of research, results were analysed by following the qualitative data analyse method of Miles&Huberman. According to the findings of the participants interviews, the most repeating reasons of the teacher circulation are, low income, organizational climate, mobbing, developmental reasons and occupational role. At the end of the research, suggestions are given to owners, managers, teachers and mentors, which are constituted by the results of the participants interviews.
