Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the level of predicting adaptive perfectionism by self-regulated learning strategies and self-efficacy in gifted children and to examine the relationship between the three concepts. The study was carried out with 187 students in 87 girls and 100 boys in 4th, 5th and 6th grade in science and art centers in Aydın and Denizli in the 2017-2018 academic year. The model of the research is of relational screening type. In the study, the data were collected by Self-Regulatory Learning-7, Self-Efficacy for Children, Adaptive-Maladaptive Perfectionism Scales. The data were analyzed with SPSS 25.0 package program. As a result of the analyzes, it was found that there were significant relationships between self-regulated learning and general self-efficacy and adaptive perfectionism. Self-regulated learning and self-efficacy were found to predict significantly adaptive perfectionism. In conclusion, it can be said that we can explain a small part of adaptive perfectionism with self-regulated learning and self-efficacy.
