The research of the professional career choices of the students who get instrument training in institutions that offer amateur musical education

The objective of this research is to determine the affects of instrument training given by amateur musical educational institutions on professional career choices. On these basis this research is a descritional work to determine the affects of instrument training given by amateur musical educational institutions on professional career choices in Turkey .In this research a survey of 14 questions for 75 student guardians and 13 questions for 75 students, who are being educated in amateur musical educational institutions were implemented to determine the affect on professional career choices.As a result of this research ; students in amateur musical institutions who had started on their own will or under their guardians guidance are attending classes on regular basis on their own will. it was observed that after students started their musical education, they started to show interest on music other than they listen to and also their participation for music activites had increased dramatically, both students and their guardians have a higher will to choose music as their Professional career. Under the light of these facts reccomendations provided for amateur musical institutions on music educations.
