Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study, which I did within the scope of the Master's thesis, traditional heterojunction OPV fabrication and by application of the ZnO thin film layer to the reverse structure I-OPV fabrications are made using materials (ITO, PEDOT:PSS, ZnO, P3HT:PCBM, MoO3, Al) that convert solar energy into electrical energy and which are easy to obtain and do not harm the cost-effective ecosystem. Firstly, ITO/PEDOT:PSS/P3HT:PCBM/Al conventional heterojunction OPV fabrication was performed and the power conversion efficiency of this heterojunction OPV device was obtained as 2,29%. I-OPV fabrication was performed by two methods. In the first method, the ZnO solution was coated to the ITO surface at 2500 rpm for 50 sec. and then was annealed on a hot plate at 150 °C for 10 minutes in clean room conditions. These coating and annealing processes were repeated three times and ITO/ZnO thin film obtained. In the second method, 99% pure zinc oxide was coated onto ITO surface by RF magnetron sputtering method and ITO/ZnO thin film was obtained. With the ITO/ZnO thin films obtained by both methods obtained the ITO/ZnO/P3HT:PCBM/MoO3/Al inverted OPV structure. The power conversion efficiency of I-OPV obtained by spin coating method was calculated as 0,92% and the power conversion efficiency of I-OPV obtained by sputtering method was calculated as 0,69%. In addition, absorption, profilometer, XRD and AFM measurements of the layers used in the production of inverted organic solar cells were carried out by optical, morphological and structural characterization.
