Abstract (EN)
In this study, P460 and St52 (S355J2G3) material pair among material pairs with different properties were joined by using submerged welding method at 17-20 cm/min welding speed and 450-500, 475-525, 500-550, 525-575, and 550-600 amperes. The welded joints were subject to notch impact test. Microhardness measurements were made in Vickers scale under a load of 500 g. Microstructure changes in the joint zone of post-welding production parameters were investigated by optical microscope and EDS analyses. Radiographic examination was performed. After the examinations, it was determined that the mechanical properties of the welding worsened with increasing welding speed, but results of the notch impact test improved with increasing ampere value.
