Abstract (EN)

This thesis aims to investigate the mechanical behavior of a composite part reinforced with continuous carbon fiber and a PA6 matrix using both experimental and numerical methods. As the importance of plastic and composite materials in industrial applications continues to grow, especially in the automotive sector, the demand for lightweight components with high structural performance has become a priority. In this context, a patented component known as the "tunnel bracket" was selected as the reference part, and its composite material was experimentally characterized through standar dized mechanical tests in accordance with ASTM methods. The obtained data were then validated through numerical simulations performed in the LS-DYNA environment. The influence of fiber orientation on tensile, compressive, and shear behavior was thoroughly analyzed, and a material card was developed based on the mechanical results. This study presents a unique approach that combines experimental testing with finite element analysis, offering a practical reference for engineering applications and composite part design.
