Abstract (EN)
Paclitaxel is the most effective chemotherapy drug. Purification and acquisition are very difficult and costly. Therefore we have synthesized new adsorbents that based on their interaction with tubulin for purification. Tubulin and paclitaxel are interact specially. The products that we synthesize can be used not only as paclitaxel but also as an adsorbent in other impurity removers. One of our aims is to bring these syntheses to the literature and to be evaluated in other fields. Purification of paclitaxel has been a issue of serious problem in industry for a long time. Purification and isolation of paclitaxel contains usually more than one step; biomass extraction with organic solvent, one or more enriched steps for remove impurities or multiple chromatographic for purification. In addition, impurities such as high levels of tar, oily, phenolic and waxy components resulting from plant extract can cause excessive organic solvent consumption and reduced HPLC column life. Therefore, pharmaceutical preparations of paclitaxel pre-purification play a crucial role in prior to HPLC studies. This often requires the use of certain adsorbents that improve purity of raw purity by removing unwanted components of the initial extracts resulting in increased purity and yield and decreasing the cost of the final paclitaxel products. In this study, we investigated the effects of the adsorbents synthesized in the purification of paclitaxel.
