Levant region from the Paleolithic Era to the end of the Iron Age

The Eastern Mediterranean region, defined as the Levant in the literature, is an important geographical region at the junction of the continents. The region, which has been settled as an uninterrupted settlement since the paleolithic ages, is important in terms of enlightening and comprehending human history. In this respect, the aim of this study is to eliminate the deficiency in this field by starting from the fact that Levant region is not been stuedied sufficiently and create a road map for future studies. As a result of my work, it was seen that this geography where he peoples of the region interacted intensely, allowed many cultures to coexist and synthesize together. With this feature Levant, which has hosted many tribes, has maintained its characteristic of being a strategic region in every period history. It can be said that the Levant region settlements were the cornerstone of ancient history with their culture, material finds and peoples. It can be said that the importance given to the history of the Eastern Mediterranean will increase with the increasing number of studies on the region.
