The relationship between time perception and burnout levels of librarians during the pandemic period: The example of public libraries

The aim of this study is to address the changing working conditions with the closures that occurred worldwide due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in particular the working styles and situations of library staff throughout our country; The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between time perceptions and burnout levels of librarians working in public libraries during the pandemic period in terms of some demographic variables. It was planned to measure the existence of a significant relationship between librarians' perceptions of time and their burnout levels. This study is to measure the relationship between librarians' perception of time and their burnout levels during the pandemic period. The scope of the study consists of librarians working in public libraries. In the study, survey model, which is one of the quantitative research methods, and questionnaires and scales were used as data collection technique. In order to evaluate the relationship between librarians' time perceptions and burnout levels, Personal Information Form was used as data collection tools, Zimbardo Time Perception Inventory was used to evaluate time perception, and Maslach Burnout Scale was used to determine burnout levels.
