Abstract (EN)
In the study, it was aimed to determine the relationship between the perceptions of uncertainty about the future, anxiety levels and life satisfaction of individuals between the ages of 20-60 during the pandemic process. Accordingly, the relational screening model was used in the study. The questionnaire form prepared by the researcher was used as a data collection tool. The universe of the study consists of individuals between the ages of 20 and 60 residing in Istanbul. Convenience sampling method was used to determine the individuals to be included in the sample size in the study. A total of 416 people were reached in the study. SPSS 20 statistical program was used to analyze the data. Pearson Correlation analysis was used to examine the relationship between the scores of the participants from the scales. Independent samples t test (for two-group variables) and one-way analysis of variance (for three and more than three groups) were used to examine the differentiation of the scores of the participants from the scales according to various variables. The data of the research were analyzed at 95% confidence level. As a result, a positive relationship was found between the prospective anxiety levels, inhibitory anxiety levels, general levels of intolerance to uncertainty and state anxiety levels and trait anxiety levels, and a negative relationship between life satisfaction levels. In addition, a negative relationship was found between the state and trait anxiety levels of the participants and their life satisfaction levels. Again, it was determined that the trait anxiety level of women was higher than men during the pandemic period. It was determined that trait anxiety levels of individuals aged 20-25 were higher than individuals aged 32-38 and 39 years and older. Similarly, it is among the results that the anxiety levels of single individuals are higher than married and divorced individuals during the pandemic period.
