Özet (EN)
The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between teachers' loneliness, psychological resilience and emotional self-efficacy levels during the pandemic process. The research was carried out with the teachers working in the schools in Belen and İskenderun districts of Hatay province, with their permission. The study group of this research consists of 399 teachers, 252 women and 147 men, who were selected by easily accessible sampling method from Hatay Province. Personal Information Form, UCLA Loneliness Scale, Brief Psychological Resilience Scale and Emotional Self-Efficacy Scale were applied to the participants. SPSS 21 program was used in the analysis of the data. The Mann Whitney U Test, which is the non-parametric version of the t-test, was used to examine whether the loneliness levels of teachers differ according to gender and marital status, since the distribution of loneliness scores, which is the dependent variable of the study, is not suitable for normal distribution (Alpar, 2014). The Kruskal Wallis Test, which is the non-parametric equivalent of one-way analysis of variance, was used to examine whether the loneliness levels of the participants differ according to the level of work and age groups(Alpar, 2014). The relationship between teachers' loneliness, emotional self-efficacy and resilience levels was calculated by Spearman's correlation. Considering the results of the research, there is a negative correlation between loneliness and resilience (rho=-.406, p<.001) and emotional self-efficacy (rho=-.368, p<.001); It is seen that there is a positive and significant relationship between psychological resilience and emotional self-efficacy (rho=.394, p<.001). According to the results of this research, as the loneliness level of the teachers increases, their psychological resilience and emotional self-efficacy levels decrease; It has been determined that as the psychological resilience levels increase, the emotional self-efficacy levels also increase.
