As a result of the pandemic process negatively affecting working life as well as all areas of life, new working models have emerged. The aim of this research is the determination whether there is a significant difference between the job satisfaction and performance of academicians working in the fields of health and tourism during the pandemic process, age, gender, professional experience, spare time for their families and social activities in their free time during the pandemic process, and distance education activities carried out in the education and training process at universities. The survey method was used to obtain the research data and the surveys were answered by 400 participants within nine months between April and December 2021. Data was subjected to reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test, anova analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis with the statistical package program. While the performance levels of the participants 4.26 points, the internal satisfaction level was 3.97, the external satisfaction level were 3.74 and the general satisfaction level were 3.86 points. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the job satisfaction scale had a statistically significant positive effect on performance. In addition, it was found that the marital status and age factor were effective in the participants' commuting during the pandemic process. It has been observed that the average of those who think that distance education is not different from face-to-face education in the job satisfaction scale and its sub-dimensions is higher than those who think that distance education is different from face-to-face education. In the conclusion part of the research, practical recommendations are given.
