Abstract (EN)

Within the scope of this thesis, in order to create the conceptual infrastructure of the model proposal, the concept of parametric design has been discussed etymologically and how its meaning has been shaped throughout the historical process has been examined. In addition, it is aimed to analyze the methods of producing products at the smallest building scale by researching the historical development of three-dimensional printers that continue to develop and industrial robot arms that can perform three-dimensional printing at the building scale. For this purpose, Le Corbusier's shelter unit called "Le Cabanon", which aims to maximize efficiency in the least amount of space for the design of the shelter unit, was used as a source reference in the development of the design. Grasshopper, a parametric design tool, and ArchiCAD, a building information modeling tool, were run together to develop a model that takes its form from its function, and a visual coding algorithm was developed to produce this model with the non-planar additive manufacturing method.
