Abstract (EN)
The present thesis consists of four chapters. In the first chapter of this thesis, aliterature survey about splitted method have been presented. In the second chapter, some fundamental concepts in addition to finite differencemethods which will be used in the next chapters have been given. In the third chapter, after introducing Burgers equation, analytic solutions of linearizedBurgers equations with three different initial and boundary conditions have beenobtained. Then, explicit, implicit and Crank-Nicholson methods have been applied to themodel problems of which analytic solutions were given in the previous chapter, a comparisonof the obtained results with the analytic solutions has been given. In the fourth chapter, splitted Burgers equation with three different initial andboundary conditions has been taken into consideration and numerical solutions of eachequation with finite difference method has been obtained and then they have been comparedwith their analytic solutions.
