Abstract (EN)
In this study, analysis of particle reinforced sandwich composite beam vibration is carried out experimentally and numerically. In the study, aluminum honeycomb had been used as a core material for shaping the sandwich structure and carbon fibre composites with different particle additives (B4C, SiC, Al2O3) for upper and lower surface plates. In the study, effect of parameters like particle type, particle addition ratio and core material height on natural frequency had been researched. Numerical analysis is carried out using ANSYS program. The sandwich beam model used in software packages were created parametric modeling done. The experimental samples was determined using Taguchi experimental design method. Natural frequencies of sandwich beams which was produced on different configurations on clamped-free boundary condition. According to results which were driven by experiments, it was seen that every particle which was used on sandwich structure is increasing the natural frequency according to unused additive sandwich composite beams. Also, on the composite beams with same particle additive, core height and upper-lower plate thickness, natural frequency is growing as particle addition ratio is increased.
