Abstract (EN)

Technology, which made a serious progress in the 20th century, has also facilitated the spread of information, and everything has become a situation that can be questioned by everyone. Because natural sciences has ceased to be a situation that only concerns science, and has started to attract attention in visual and literary fields. Inspiring artists for a long time; matter has become a situation that is examined within the concepts of existence and existence. The mysterious state of matter, which is discussed in many fields, has been shattered and made more complex. At this point, postmodernism, which is described as a game played with crumbs for some, has emerged. In the process, the sciences, which played an active role for a formation that pushed the limits of creativity in the minds of artists, revealed a new art form called pataphysics that changed dimensions with the postmodern period. While there are phenomena such as atom, quantum, entropy, and chaos in the new art form mentioned, all of these inquiries cover pataphysics, that is, the science of exceptions. At the same time, new concepts in postmodern art have entered art on the basis of the effect of technology opportunities on the creation processes. These; While concepts such as pastige, parody, and appropriation are taking place, the underlying situation is emulation and copying. These methods used by various postmodern artists have created a new perception in art. This perception is the case of creation over the design rather than originality. In this thesis, the existence, field and reference of pathophysics in the postmodern period, while focusing on the theory and artists, the new meaning of the object in art is examined.
