Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to determine the effect of paternalistic leadership perception of employees in hotel businesses on organizational trust dimensions. For this purpose, data were collected from 400 people working in five hotel businesses affiliated to a management-centered group in Turkey operating in seven different sectors with more than 300 companies as the place of application in the study. In the study, the scale used to measure paternalistic leadership behavior and the organizational trust scale consisting of the sub-dimensions of trust in the organization, trust in the manager and trust in colleagues were used. The obtained data were analyzed with the SmartPLS-4 program. According to the results obtained from the research, it was determined that paternalistic leadership behavior affects the sub-dimensions of trust in the organization, trust in the manager and trust in colleagues, which constitute organizational trust, and three hypotheses that examine the effect between paternalistic leadership and organizational trust sub-dimensions were supported.
