Özet (EN)
Today, the continuous development of digital technology brings computer-aided designs and digital designs to the forefront in architectural designs as in many other areas. With this approach, it is seen that the result is reached in the shortest time with the least error by playing with the parameters in the product or system in the design stage transferred to the computer, at the points where it is desired to be changed. This allows the designer and the manufacturer to take advantage of parametric design approaches. Parametric design allows the creation of numerous designs in desired forms via computer aided design programs. This approach represents one of the most important design approaches in the architectural field with today's design approach and developments. In this thesis study, in which the Zaha Hadid Architecture's parametric designs will be examined, literature review was done by general screening method and the previous studies were examined. As a result of the researches, Patrik Schumacher's Manifesto of the Parametricism presented at the 2008 Venice Biennial was determined as the method. In the first part of the thesis which will consist of 5 chapters, problem, purpose and importance of research and scopes, in the second part, it was tried to inform about the parametric design, the use of parametric design, software used in parametric design and Parametricist Manifesto. In the third chapter which includes the findings, principles to be followed and avoided stated in the manifesto were examined. The architectural and interior designs, furniture and product designs determined within the scope of the thesis were evaluated in the fourth chapter, in the discussion and interpretation section in line with the principles stated in the manifesto. In the last part of this study with the results and suggestions, it is wanted to draw attention to the parametrical design approach we encountered in many points in architecture and interior architecture. In order to better analyze and apply today's design approach, it is thought that more emphasis should be placed on transfer of digital design methods to undergraduate students. The findings of the studies are aimed to be a guide for the present and future designers.
