Abstract (EN)

By giving a general name to the thesis, it is aimed to carry out a general study including the effects of the Paulicians on the political and social aspects. The studies on the Paulicians as much as the day-to-day work are largely handled in the context of Christian history rather than their political history. With this thesis, it is aimed to add a new work on the Paulicians by conducting research about their political history. By the Byzantines 'one religion' policy in accordance with the marginalised, excluded and exposed to pressures Paulicians, the other a heretic sects, unlike in the political domain is not the only religion of the Byzantine Empire. Another feature of this community that don't have a certain ethnic element.
