Özet (EN)

Energy efficiency and conservation are critical issues today, and the widespread recognition of solar energy as a key solution for achieving independence from fossil fuels underscores its importance. In this study, we installed water treatment systems and conducted numerous experiments to enhance energy efficiency while exploring various parameters' impacts on water distillation rates. Our primary aim was to augment distillation rates by expanding the surface area for rapid evaporation using sponge pieces. Additionally, we integrated a novel condensation system that sprays water on the external heat exchanger of the thermoelectric module, thereby boosting condensation rates. Our investigation also delved into the effects of black color on solar energy absorption, the influence of indoor fan operation on water vapor distribution, and the role of solar radiation. The results demonstrated a significant increase in water distillation rates approximately 100.5% with the use of sponge pieces and a thermoelectric cooler. Furthermore, the operation of air fans was found to increase distillation by more than 51.1%. In sum, our study offers valuable insights into the design and optimization of solar-powered water treatment systems, emphasizing the importance of energy efficiency and the potential of renewable energy sources to meet our energy needs while mitigating environmental impact.
