Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effects of evaporation and condensation temperatures changes to a cooling system?s performance were studied. The study consists of three parts. First, a cooling system that consists of a scroll type compressor, an air-cooled condenser, a water-cooling evaporator and thermostatic expansion valve was designed. Then this system was operated for different air and water inlet temperatures and results were obtained. Then, with using Microsoft Office ? Excel, a simulation model that based on -NTU method was developed to evaluate the performance of a cooling system with variation of water and air inlet temperatures. Finally, numerical results were compared with experimental results. Keywords : cooling system, scroll compressor, simulation model, evaporation, condensation, performance
