Abstract (EN)

When mentorship is considered within a wide perspective, we see that it is applied in the organizations as an alternative approach to the training techniques and performance evaluation process and reaps multiple benefits. People have very different characteristics from each other as well as they are motivated and satisfied by very different factors. Therefore, it is mostly impossible to generalize the effective motivation factors for all employees, in other words it is impossible to try to improve the performances of the employees with certain motivation methods. Carrying on the face-to face, one-to-one relations between the mentor and the individual everyday depends on providing a clear, supportive, confident and effective communication process. In this case, it becomes possible to recognize the individuals closer and in this way to act in the right way by getting right information from what kinds of activities the individuals get pleasure, what kind of motivation tools can be used in order to make them happy while working.
