Using balanced scorecard method in performance measuring and applying it in a dentistry faculty

Performance is generaly described as working to be successful in people?s lifes and jobs.Using of method of balanced scorecard which is one of the performance measure tools starts with specifying vision and mission according to datas of company. In this way, purposes which are about short and long terms. Sings which are about financial or not are clarified in four perspectives which are financial. Customer, transaction in company and learning and development by using relationship between cause and effect.The basic aim of this thesis analyse the method of blanced scorecard which is one of the performance measure tools in Dentistry Faculty in perpectives of financial,customer, transaction in company and learning and development.In order to reach these goals, the selected Dentistry Faculty?s income-expenses table and balanced sheet about of 2006 - 2007, amount of ill and labor has been used. Eight sections of Dentistry Faculty has been included to this research. The incomes and expenses of sections have been estimated as percentage analysis procedure and statistical procedures. The used datas have been obtained from Dentistry Faculty hospital headship and circulating capital management.At the of the researches, only two sections among eight sections determined as gained profit as their financial format. Beside this, Dentistry Faculty has been gained profit in 2006 and 2007 the percentage analyze procedure.Key words: Performance Measurement, Balanced Scorecard,Dentistry Faculty.
