Abstract (EN)
As a result of economic, environmental and legal requirements, the sustainability of companies' profitability in the tobacco and tobacco products market has become directly related to their performance. Producers whose input prices have increased with the decrease in tobacco cultivation areas want to closely monitor the performance of distributors and sellers throughout the supply chain in order to avoid shrinking demand and to maintain profitability. At this point, how to measure performance in a healthy way emerges as a challenge and gains importance day by day. In Turkey, despite all of the prohibition of cigarettes, the consumption of cigarettes very common. Because of that cigarette sales is becoming very important place in the future. In this study, the number of districts, number of dealers, product type, sales revenue, sales quantity, number of personnel, number of vehicles and net profit criteria were determined in order to evaluate the performance of a cigarette distributor in cigarette sales in West Mediterranean Region between 2006-2016. While evaluate performance the distributor, that is the main subject of the practice, use for calculating the criterial weights with the Entropi method which is commonly used method of Multi-Criteria Decision Making Models, and analyzed by MULTIMOORA, CORPAS and WASPAS methods. The most effective criteria were determined as sales volume and net profit by weighting the criterion made by entropy method. According to the results of all three methods (MULTIMOORA, COPRAS and WASPAS), the distributor increased its performance every year and showed the highest performance in 2016.
