THE TECHNOLOGICAL INVESTIGATION OF REFINING BORON FROM THE WASTE BORON WATER WITH HELEZONE SYSTEM USING THE PERLİTE ADSORBANT SUMMARY Keywords: Boron, Adsorption, perlitte adsorption, boron wastes, borax administrations The 63 % of boron reserve in the world is found in Turkey. However, Turkey has not taken its required place in international markets. In the developed countries (USA, Japan etc.) the products of boron are mainly used in space, war, nuclear industry and etc. Unfortunately, important part of this valuable raw material is wasted in our country. This is both a loss for the economy of the country and it is a problem for both the underground and the surface in respect to environment. In addition to this, the boron water pressed into the pond occupies the useful area of the land and it makes the plants useless in the environment. The industrial water with boron stored in the pond pollutes the useful underground and surface water by leaking underground. The researches have shown that the stored boron water in the pond goes 30-35 km in a year by leaking underground. In this article, a research on the adsorption of boron element from the boron water was done by helezone system. Perlite is used as adsorption material. xn
