Abstract (EN)

Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have been a great attention due to its remarkable properties such as high efficiency, low cost, so on. But there is still some problems must be solved in front commercialization of this technology. The most important problems for his technology can be defined to be stability and reproducibility. Especially interface engineering is very important for solving those problems. Among interface engineering techniques, self assembled monolayer (SAM) is commonly used and facile method for such applications. SAM technique is one of the most preferred method owing to its important effect on surface chemistry to improve the performance of perovskite solar cells. In this study, we investigated the use of calixarene based SAMs to improve photovoltaic device performance perovskite solar cells. Calixarene based SAMs modified on to ITO-coated substrates with a configuration of Glass/ITO/SAM/PEDOT:PSS/Perovskite/PCBM/Al and also compact TiO2 coated normal geometry perovskite solar cells were investigated. In order to determine surface properties of non-modified and modified ITO surface, AFM and SEM were performed. The results show improved solar cell performance depending on interface modification technique and alsa molecular structure of SAM molecule. This work presented the importance of interface modification and beside the improtance of molecular structure of SAM molecule to improve the performance of perovskite solar cells.
