A research on Perşembe magazine

The Persembe Mecmuası, which was active between 1935 and 1936, was the focus of this study, which attempted to launch the journal. Haydar Türegün publishes this magazine as a "weekly, politically illustrated newspaper" with sixty-nine issues. The first chapter discussed the necessity of journalism before introducing Persembe Mecmuasi in terms of form and substance. It has been stated that this journal, which was produced during the Early Republican Period, aspired to position the individual that the Republican administration attempted to establish. It has been stated that a portrait of this type of person was created using the magazine's cover photographs and articles. The axis of this study was literary articles in the journal's content. The magazine's literary genres (poem, book, tale, interview, travel writing, memoir, etc.) were investigated. In the second chapter, an index table with the journal's content information organized by numbers was developed. The relevant articles, titles, headlines, and images from the journal were emphasized in the appendix section at the conclusion of the research.
