Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of corporate culture on theperception of the employee about the empowerment.Employee empowerment requires, team working, flexible workingconditions and participative culture. The corporate culture that is one of the definer ofthe management applications and perception provides the workers to work incoordination and accordance with the organization targets.To test the Hypothesies, a research has been done on the banks in the centerof Kütahya. The data were obtained from the workers by questionnaires. There wereresults of 74 bank personal out of 8 banks, 2 of which are state-owned and the rest areprivately-owned. To evaluate the questionnaire results, frequency, reliability, factor,regression and correlation analyses were utilised. According to the results of theresearch the change in the perception of employee empowerment, can be defined by theorganizational culturel variables as designed by Hofstede.
