A research on different pest management methods in the production of pesticide-free edible vine leaf

Abstract (EN)

Grapevine leavesused in stuffing and stuffing are generally collected from vineyards where grapes are grown. The most important problem in the production of edible leaves is the pesticide residue applied to the vines within the scope of agricultural control during the edible leavesharvest period. The aim of this research is to develop an alternative pesticide method that will not threaten food safety during the leaf harvest period. The research was carried out on Narince vines in the trial vineyard of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, Agricultural Research and Application Center and in the producer vineyard in Erbaa district. In the study, sulfur, calcium polysulphide, copper, peracetic acid, boric acid and biological control agents were applied in four combination within the scope of agricultural control during the leaaves production period. The effects of the applications against downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola), powdery mildew (Erysphe necator), phomompsis diseases (Phomopsis viticola) and bud-mite (Eriophyes vitis) pests were determined. The amounts of Ca, S, Cu and B applied to the leaves were determined in the harvested fresh and pickled leaves. Mineral substances detected in the leaves were evaluated by taking into account the sum of adequate level + MRL. In negative control plots, downy mildew disease severity increased from the first harvest and reached the highest level (3.23) in the fifth harvest. Powdery mildew was not observed in the trial vineyard, and the severity of vineyard bud-mite was not at a level that would affect the yield. In the research, it was determined that the amount of sulfur, copper and boron detected in fresh and pickled leaves collected in five periods was not at a level that would pose a risk for food safety. In the research, sulfur in edible leaves was detected between 181.4 ppm and 2062.8 ppm, and all samples were found to be below the sufficient level of 2500 ppm. Copper was detected between 5.9 ppm and 33.0 ppm in edible leaves. Ca in leaves: 3.32%-8.13%; B is determined between 34.6 ppm-117.9 ppm. It was determined that the amount of sulfur and copper detected in grape leaf samples increased from the first harvest to the last harvest. It was determined that the sulfur content of the leaves increased as 542 ppm, 1212 ppm, 1819 ppm, 1931 ppm, 2095 ppm compared to the period average. Calcium polysulphide, copper salt of gluconic acid with 5% copper content, metallic copper hydroxide, copper oxychloride, MG-1 (Bacillus subtilis, B. megaterium, Pseudomonas fluorescens) will make an effective contribution to the management against diseases and pests during the edible leaf production period.
