Abstract (EN)

In this study, moment capacity of case type furniture corner joints which are produced with different joint techniques and filled paper honeycomb panels with different thicknesses will be investigated. In the tests, among the types of paper honeycomb filled materials; 38 mm thickness, honeycomb panels will be utilized. L-type corner joints constructed with dowel, biscuit, minifix, maxifix and special connections. In the tests, among the types of wood based panel; MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard), particleboard with 4 and 8mm are used. In the joints polivinilasetat (PVAc) adhesieve was used as an adhesive. Specimens will be tested under static diagonal compression loads by be thinking the critic loads which can effect while usage. According to the experiment results, biscuit joints and dowel joints produced with MDF carries more loads. According to the test results, in the design of case furniture, considering economic criterion from the point of materials, material choice should be done as MDF and particleboard. Doweled and biscuit joints should be prefered as a joint material. Materials and joints on this subject can be tried in variational types.
