An adaptation of combined staging perspective of Peter Brook

Many practitioners of contemporary theater are in search for the ways to have participatory relationship with their audience in the theater. Peter Brook is one of the most important of these practitioners. Peter Brook has spent almost his entire life trying to do non-lethal theater. For this purpose, he used different intertwined methods to create possible moments to have a direct relationship with the audience and he supported the idea that the actor should be a good story teller. In this study, a stage experiment based on Peter Brook's views on theater and acting was conducted and the variant methods of his working style is named "Combined Staging Perspective. Based on one of his views "the actor group should be a multi-headed storyteller", Dino Buzzati's story "The Dog Who Saw God" was adapted and staged. The playfulness of the theater was emphasized with the way the show was performed and it is aimed to share a live theatre moment with the audience
