Abstract (EN)
Our study includes general information about the natural gas reserves on the Earth and the pipeline steels used in the transfer of this reserve. In the production of pipes, API 5L X80 standard sheet steel sheet material was examined until the pipe form was brought to the stage and all the experiments were carried out in the process. In spiral welded sheet material by powder welding; visual inspection, chemical analysis, microstructure analysis, ultrasonic, fluoroscopic, hydrostatic, tensile, Charpy V-Notch, liquid penetrant, weight reduction, guided bending, vickers hardness measurement, magnetic particle and polyethylene peeling tests were carried out and destructive and non-destructive testing processes were completed. As a result of the investigation, the effects of microstructures in the welded area of the pipeline steel were investigated.
