Abstract (EN)

With advancing technology, energy demand is rapidly increasing, prompting countries to invest in new sources. Given the challenges in consistently finding new resources and the inherent variability in renewable energy, it is crucial to use the energy produced more effectively. By implementing appropriate strategies, it is possible to achieve better management of plant efficiency and the production-consumption balance. Renewable energy plays a central role in these strategies. This study focuses on the synergistic impact of battery facilities operating in hybrid mode with wind energy generation plants and provides recommendations on the additional value that can be gained through different production and consumption strategies. Key methods include the effective use of energy storage systems, flexible demand management, and the establishment of hybrid systems capable of storing and using energy. This diversified approach contributes to a more balanced and sustainable energy system. As a result of this study, several strategies are proposed for the efficient management of wind farms supported by batteries, and their effectiveness is demonstrated through various case studies. Additionally, based on these strategies, the optimal installed capacity for the relevant wind farm is calculated and presented to the literature. The study is evaluated based on real-time data, and the obtained results are analyzed in detail.
